Welcome to our charming mountain storehouse – the perfect retreat for couples or smaller parties looking for a peaceful stay close to nature. Renovated in 2024, this cozy hideaway blends authentic mountain character with modern comfort – a place where rustic charm meets warmth and relaxation.

Spread across two floors, the cabin offers a thoughtful layout. On the ground floor, you’ll find a welcoming kitchen combined with a small sitting area – perfect for cozy moments together – as well as a bathroom for your convenience. There’s also a sofa bed providing extra sleeping space when needed.

Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a small living area with beautiful views over Lake Åresjön – an ideal spot to unwind after a day of mountain adventures.

The location is hard to beat – the mountains are literally on your doorstep. The nearest lift, Björnenliften, is only 90 meters from the lodge. The Björnen lifts are open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm during the winter season, allowing you to make the very most of your time on the slopes, even during the darker months.

After a full day in Åre’s ski area, simply take the Fjällgård Express lift and glide all the way back home on skis. Within the Björnen ski area, you can easily ski back from anywhere. If you’ve been off-piste, you can even make your way from Skutan via Lillskutan to Björnänge Lodge without taking a lift (follow trail 105 from the top of Fjällgård Express).

Cross-country and lighted ski trails begin about 600 meters away in Åre Björnen, where you’ll also find a small grocery store, restaurants, a pub, ski rental, and lift ticket sales. For larger shopping trips, a full-size ICA supermarket is located just 800 meters away near the E14.

Arriving by train? The ski bus or a taxi will easily take you the short four kilometers from the station to the lodge. Ski buses run daily between Duved and Björnen via Åre – check Skistar for current schedules. The fishing in the area is excellent, and fishing permits for Fröåtjärn can be purchased if you’d like to spend a peaceful day by the water.
